Creative Mischief is a juried show and showcases the latest works by National Academy School Faculty, Alumni, and Student artists. On view from May 18th through May 29th are more than 100 selected works that represent a broad spectrum of artistic disciplines: abstract and figurative paintings, site-specific installations, sculptures, photographs, prints, videos, and animation. Works will take over galleries in the museum’s Fifth Avenue mansion home, as well as the Academy School Galleries, in a dialogue with the viewer that evokes an ambiance between suggestion and poetry, machinery and subtlety, within an exciting and diverse environment.
